Gold Nutrition makes a gummy candy bar and infuses it with caffeine and electrolytes

Gold Nutrition Total Energy Jelly Bar

Gold Nutrition has taken the concept of high sugar gummy candy for energy and fuel, enlarged it and put it into a bar format, and infused one of its options with caffeine and another with electrolytes. The latest functional creation from the European brand is Total Energy Jelly Bar, which is primarily made with sugar and glucose syrup to give it that gummy candy-like high dose of carbohydrates to fuel performance.

As mentioned, the Total Energy Jelly Bar from Gold Nutrition comes in a long slim bar, and it has dips evenly throughout, making it easier to break up the product and turn it into bite-sized pieces. There are three versions of the bar; the main one comes in Apple and Strawberry flavors and packs a solid 23g of fast-absorbing carbohydrates with most of that sugar, absolutely no protein or fat, and a fitting calorie count of 95.

The second version of Gold Nutrition’s Total Energy Jelly Bar is Cola-flavored and has all of the same macros, including that 23g of carbohydrates, but it’s got an added 80mg of caffeine for energy. The third and final Total Energy Jelly Bar is infused with electrolytes to improve hydration and performance, and the nutrition is slightly different with a lower 17g of fast-absorbing carbohydrates and 82 calories.

Gold Nutrition has launched Total Energy Jelly Bar through its online store, and it conveniently sells them in single bars at €1.50 (1.53 USD) each. That price is also the same for any of the three versions of the product; the standard, caffeinated, or electrolyte-enhanced.
