ADVANCEDgg takes a different direction for Halloween and drops $15 tubs of locusts

Advancedgg Edible Locusts

Gaming brand ADVANCEDgg has gone about Halloween a little bit differently from everyone else, where instead of putting together some sort of enjoyable limited-time flavor, it has a whole bunch of merchandise, one of which is more entertaining than the rest. The brand has crafted some special edition Halloween-themed apparel, including a hoodie, long sleeve, tee, and a beanie.

Other items filling out ADVANCEDgg’s Halloween collection are two shaker bottles, a standard plastic one that glows in the dark, and a premium custom Ice Shaker. The last product is where things get interesting, as ADVANCEDgg has also released its very own tub of locusts. They are not alive and are intended to be eaten, with the brand even including a nutrition label.

Locusts are a solid source of protein, packing 7g into a 10g serving, with only a gram each of carbohydrates and fat, and 40 calories. That destroys the macros of every protein bar we know of, but of course, these are locusts and most definitely don’t taste anywhere near as good. The product is rather small, with just a single 10g serving inside, and the cost of the tub of edible locusts is $15.

You can check out ADVANCEDgg’s limited Halloween collection on its website with a few bundles available, as well, combining its energy and focus-supporting gaming supplement with shakers and stickers. The crispy and crunchy edible locusts are only available by themselves, so you’ll have to purchase them individually, as mentioned, at $15 for a small, single-serving tub.
