Real Good Foods puts individually sold high-protein low-carb burritos into Kroger

Real Good Foods High Protein Burritos

The innovative, better-for-you food company Real Good Foods has gone from its original protein-packed pizza with a base made from chicken breast to a whole host of different formats, all continuing its original approach of high protein, low carbohydrates, and made from real food. On that list of tasty are tacos, stuffed chicken breasts, chicken bites, enchiladas, and beginning to show up in Kroger this month are burritos.

Real Good Foods Burritos have the same great highlights as the other products, coming loaded with protein at 21g a piece, a low 9g of net carbohydrates, 12 to 15g of fat, and a reasonable calorie count of 230 to 270. They are certainly better nutritionally than a traditional burrito and made with clean, real food ingredients, including a wheat-based tortilla, plenty of chicken for the protein, pepper jack cheese, and jalapenos.

The all-new Real Good Foods Burritos have actually just rolled out at Kroger and its massive family of stores, and in a rather interesting size. Typically, anything from the better-for-you brand comes in a bulk pack, whether that’s a bag of chicken bites or a box of two stuffed chicken breasts. Real Good’s protein-heightened burritos come individually wrapped, and at Kroger you can get them for just $4.29 a piece in Seasoned Chicken & Creamy Jalapeno and Chicken & Pepperjack Cheese flavors.
