This coming Friday at precisely midday Eastern Time, Christmas is coming to Bowmar Nutrition by way of a special edition, limited-time flavor of its collagen-based protein snack, the Protein Brownie, or at least it looks to be something similar to that functional offering. The brand has announced the Protein Gingerbread Cookie Bar, made with a collagen-filled formula but with slightly less protein compared to Bowmar Nutrition’s already available Protein Brownie, which makes sense due to its smaller size.
Bowmar Nutrition’s Protein Gingerbread Cookie Bar packs just 9g of protein in a 30g piece, only 6g less than the Protein Brownie at half the size, and as per the name, it offers a classic gingerbread flavor experience. The other macros in the product are similarly light and lean to the Bowmar Protein Brownie’s nutrition profile, and again, it’ll be available this coming Friday through the brand’s online store, and at that smaller size, we have to imagine it’ll be cheaper than Protein Brownie’s $23.99 a box.
