Justin’s introduces its chocolate candy pieces involving peanuts and dark chocolate

Justins Chocolate Candy Pieces

Widely known functional food company Justin’s, producer of various delicious peanut-based snacks and foods, including peanut butter and peanut butter cups, has expanded its family with something more treat-like and candy-inspired with Chocolate Candy Pieces. The product is the better-for-you brand’s take on the classic, yellow-branded Peanut M&M’s, with peanuts wrapped in chocolate and a colorful shell, or more specifically, in the Justin’s innovation, the functional item is made with decadent dark chocolate.

There are actually two versions in Justin’s Chocolate Candy Pieces line; the first is, as mentioned, crunchy peanuts wrapped in dark chocolate and covered in a colorful shell, like Peanut M&M’s. The other one mixes things up a bit with the same sort of main ingredients, but there is dark chocolate at the center, wrapped with peanut butter and then the shell. The macros on the two are about the same, with 2g of protein in a 1oz (28g) serving, 9 to 10g of fat, 15 to 17g of carbohydrates, most of the sugar, and 160 calories.

You can get your hands on either of the Justin’s Chocolate Candy Pieces products, separately named Peanut Candy Pieces and Peanut Butter Candy Pieces, at Whole Foods, The Fresh Market, and the online giant Amazon. There are a couple of different packaging options for the undoubtedly delicious peanut-based snack with bulk 4.5oz bags priced at $30 each for Peanut Candy Pieces and Peanut Butter Candy Pieces, or take the more convenient route and grab a box of 12 one-and-a-half serving packs at $26.60.
