Hydration specialist Waterboy makes one product for the bar and another for barbells

Introducing Waterboy Hydration

Week after week, we share and highlight something new in the world of hydration, whether that be an established sports nutrition company taking on the space for the first time or expanding its reach, adding more than what it currently offers. We also come across several brands we have just never met before that are entirely built around the category, and here today we have another one of those to introduce to our followers by way of the hydration specialist Waterboy.

The colorfully marketed Waterboy makes two hydration supplements currently, which are distinctly different but are both based around a variety of essential electrolytes to support and improve hydration, performance, and recovery. The products are Workout Hydration and Weekend Recovery; the former is designed for use around your workout to support hydration during intense exercise, while the latter is to remedy the effects of a hangover after a night out.

Waterboy Hydration

Again, both Waterboy’s Workout Hydration and Weekend Recovery feature an electrolyte-loaded formula, with the workout-focused supplement packing a combined total of a pinch under 3,000mg of electrolytes, the majority of that coming from sodium and chloride, plus an unlisted amount of glutamine. In Weekend Recovery, the electrolyte count is actually higher at just over 3g, still mostly sodium and chloride, but alongside that for the hangover-curing effect is theanine and a variety of vitamins, including a good dose of vitamin C and ginger extract for immune health.

With Weekend Recovery in its arsenal, Waterboy is not your ordinary hydration supplement company and certainly brings a point of difference to the space, as well as education on how electrolytes and hydration can benefit other situations, in this case, help with a hangover. You can check out the brand in more detail on its website, where Workout Hydration and Weekend Recovery come in an impressive number of sugar-free flavors and have an array of sizes to suit your budget.
