Power Pro in Ukraine has been rather impressive with its various innovations in the area of functional food and better-for-you-snacking. Most of the edible items we’ve posted about from the brand since coming across it sometime last year have been rather interesting, and that continues this week. Power Pro has passed on details of yet another functional product by the name of Spheric, which gets its name from the fact that the food itself is miniature pieces of candy, kind of like the classic M&M’s candy.
Spheric from Power Pro is a bag of tiny pieces of rainbow-colored candies, specifically red, yellow, and green, and inside is decadent chocolate, but unlike the familiar M&M’s, there is virtually no sugar in this one. The product is not high in protein or anything like that packing between 1 to 3g per pocket-sized pouch, with the primary purpose being a better-for-you treat. The fat sits around 7 to 9g, the carbohydrates fall between 14 and 16g, just 200mg of sugar, and a total of around 160 calories.
Power Pro’s Spheric is out now in its home country of Ukraine, and like M&M’s, or at least like the traditional M&M’s menu, there are two ways to go with the practically no sugar, color-covered chocolate candy. The brand has a straightforward Classic Spheric, with chocolate inside the shells, or Crunch, which has that same colorful outer, but inside, you get a rich, crispy and crunchy chocolate.
