Carb-fueled pre-workout Armageddon finally gets a second flavor but it’s only temporary

Viking Power Sour Cola Armageddon

Powerhouse sports nutrition brand Viking Power from the Swedish retailer MM Sports already made headlines this week, twice actually, with extensions to the menu of its canned PWO pre-workout drink and the introduction of the stacked performance-powering pre-workout Balder. Good things come in threes as they say, and to close out the week for Viking Power, we do have a third development to share regarding its recently revamped supplement, Armageddon, also from the competitive pre-workout space.

Armageddon separates itself from the many other Viking Power pre-workouts on the market by having a hefty hit of 48g of carbohydrates alongside many of the usual suspects in pure citrulline at 5g, leucine for recovery, electrolytes, tyrosine, and, of course, caffeine. When the brand relaunched Armageddon, it did so in the one Strawberry flavor, which has finally been joined by another taste, something a little more common in Europe and Australia, not so much here in the US, with an intriguing Sour Cola.

The one catch with Viking Power’s all-new Sour Cola Armageddon is that if you do get your hands on itv and end up liking the experience, you’ll want to stock up quickly. Sour Cola is a limited-time taste, not ongoing like Strawberry, although the brand has said that when it does eventually leave it will be followed by another creative, tasty, and temporary extension to the pre-workout.
