Liquid Death leaves the UK market as it temporarily focuses all of its attention on the US

Liquid Death Exits Uk

In the United Kingdom, news surfaced over the last few weeks that was a bit different from what we usually see and hear from the giant canned water company Liquid Death. Instead of a special edition flavor, massive sweepstakes with a wild prize, or some other uncommon activation, the brand revealed it would be leaving the UK market. While the brand and its instantly recognizable cans of mountain water have found international success, non-US consumers have to say farewell for now.

The always edgy Liquid Death is hitting the pause button on its operations in the United Kingdom less than two years after its spring 2023 launch. The move comes as the company shifts to 100% US manufacturing, expanding its product lineup and improving margins. Despite strong demand and growing awareness internationally, Liquid Death is temporarily focusing solely on its home country with plans to revisit international expansion once its supply chain can support global distribution.

Based on the words provided by Liquid Death itself, the difficulty comes from entirely manufacturing its beverages stateside, as opposed to in Europe and the US. That makes the task of distribution significantly harder, especially compared to other beverages that split their production — sometimes across multiple continents — as opposed toputting everything on a boat and shipping across the seas.
