Labrada Nutrition recently teased the coming of a convenient, ready-to-drink pre-workout, carrying on the brand’s legacy pre-workout name in Charge! Since that initial teaser, the brand has come out with a rundown on the ingredients and dosages that will be driving the innovation, and it is quite stacked. Labrada has made its Charge RTD a true pre-workout beverage with a formula for energy, focus, pumps, and performance.
The Charge Pre-Workout RTD is primarily going to drive one hell of a muscle pump, as most of its dosages are for that purpose, with 6g of straight citrulline, 2.5g of betaine, and a hefty 10g of glycerol. Again, this is a comprehensive supplement, so there is more to it than that, but pump is the area that has received the most attention, as mentioned, 10g of glycerol and 6g of citrulline are more than enough to bring that home.
Ingredients | Per Bottle |
Glycerol | 10,000mg |
Citrulline | 6,000mg |
Beta-Alanine | 4,000mg |
Betaine Anhydrous | 2,500mg |
Caffeine Blend | 300mg |
Huperzine A | 30mg |
Alongside the pump-powering ingredients, Labrada Nutrition has packed the Charge RTD with 4g of beta-alanine, ensuring you’re covered on performance, a variety of electrolytes, and, for uplifting energy and focus, there is huperzine and a combined 300mg of caffeine. Most ready-to-drink pre-workouts don’t compare to the level of complexity in powder pre-workouts, although that is certainly not the case here with well over 20g of actives.
Labrada Nutrition has pretty robust distribution across the country, as you can see firsthand in the availability of its popular Lean Body Protein Shakes. What that means for the Charge Pre-Workout RTD is that you’ll likely be seeing that in many places as well. Two flavors have been confirmed so far for the energy and performance powering beverage in Tart Berry Candy and Watermelon Candy, with the rollout happening soon.
