Konsoom utilizes more stable CreaBev creatine in its debut functional beverage

Konsoom Creatine

The category of creatine went through a massive phase of growth last year, where it was brand after brand coming out with supplements based on the classic muscle builder, and many putting twists on their already available standalone offerings. That explosion has continued into this year, with just as many companies getting into the space in all sorts of shapes and sizes, one of the newest names being Konsoom with a creatine beverage.

You don’t often see creatine in a drink due to its incredible instability and how it breaks down rather swiftly when left in solution. Konsoom has called on the help of Glanbia and its more stable CreaBev creatine monohydrate to go against the stability issues of creatine in its Konsoom Power & Recovery drink. The brand has put a solid 3g of CreaBev in every can of its debut innovation, which has less degradation than standard creatine monohydrate.

Konsoom Creative Beverage

The creatine in Konsoom’s ready-to-drink product is there for all of the usual benefits in strength, performance, and power. The official name of the beverage is Power & Recovery, as alongside CreaBev, is a precise 349mg of the all-important BCAAs. It’s certainly not a huge amount, far from the 5g we typically see in bulk powder supplements, but it is the other star feature of the Konsoom Power & Recovery drink to support muscle recovery and repair.

We have seen a few brands throw creatine into a drink without too much concern about the stability, so it’s great to see Konsoom pay attention to that and utilize CreaBev. There is some nutrition in the beverage, as it is made with organic fruit juice, pushing the carbohydrates to 20g with 17g of that sugar. Everything comes in a compact 8.4oz can, smaller than the usual 16oz and 12oz, and you can purchase cases of 12 from konsoom.com at $54.
