Colorful energy drink innovator PXL, has always had close ties with the gaming world with its name, marketing, various flavors, and partnerships. The brand is giving right back to those roots this month in a collaboration with a video game company from its home country of Sweden. PXL has teamed up with Embark Studios and its increasingly popular first-person shooter, The Finals, and made a special edition flavor of its signature energizing beverage.
The video game collaboration from PXL, Embark Studios, and The Finals is called Sour Core, and thankfully, we do get a description as the title really only suggests that it’s some sort of sour-based taste. The Sour Core PXL Energy Drink is, in fact, a crisp green apple experience, alongside the brand’s usual energizing formula. The PXL beverage is stacked with B vitamins and 200mg of caffeine for energy, and it’s guilt-free with zero sugar and low calories.
You can purchase a large case of two dozen cans of the Sour Core PXL Energy Drink straight from the brand’s online store. The total price on that is 449kr (47.55 USD), which is high, but again, this isn’t your typical case of 12 but twice that at 24.
