
It is that time of year again when we announce, one by one, our nominees for Brand Of The Year and its various categories. It all started with a standalone Brand Of The Year, and we have since evolved it into other subcategories for those that a broad stroke may not apply to. In the past, we have done group by group, week by week, although here in 2025, we’re going to go day after day, so next week, all of the contenders will be revealed.
We’ve got a few surprises up our sleeves, as one of the Brand Of The Year Awards will have just the one nominee, and that’s purely because they’ve absolutely killed it to the extent that no one is deservedly on the same level. We’ll have all of our usual categories, including overall Brand Of The Year, Functional Brand Of The Year, Newcomer Of The Year, and International Brand Of The Year, which was won back-to-back by Viking Power in Sweden.
We’ll be judging the Brand Of The Year Awards the same way we have for the last decade and a half, rewarding those that have been consistently innovative, exciting, and interesting throughout the year. All of our past champions have reflected that, and all of the 2025 winners will too. Some of the winners have been decided; however, some categories not so much, meaning things may change over the next few weeks until we ship the trophies.
