Yeti acquires Helimix’s signature vortex shaker design in $38 million cash deal

Helimix Sells Its Shaker To Yeti

Helimix is the instantly recognizable shaker bottle brand that makes the twisting hexagonal design you will have most definitely seen across social media, in supplement stores, and even more likely, in the gym. Helimix makes it even easier for consumers to resonate with its signature product by producing it in a significant number of colors, which we regularly report on here. The vortex shaker is about to undergo some major changes that are already taking shape.

The outdoor giant Yeti has acquired the designs, tooling, and intellectual property of Helimix and its iconic hexagonal shaker bottle in a huge $38 million cash deal that officially closed a few months ago. The acquisition will see Helimix cease operations as Yeti relaunches an updated version under its own brand. It will presumably carry over some of the original shaker’s key features and details, as well as an infusion of Yeti’s own style as it looks to tackle the category head-on.

If you were wondering when exactly Helimix would be closing its doors, that date is one week from Thursday, November 27th, right on Thanksgiving. Until that time, the brand is clearing out everything it has left available through its website with a massive 40% discount. Again, this is a farewell to Helimix but not the vortex shaker bottle it’s built to incredible heights over the last several years, as it will soon be available again under Yeti with some differences.
