Bombbar in Russia is a beast of a functional food innovator, with proof in the hardware, as it has won our Functional Brand Of The Year Award three times before. It has a whole host of different shapes and sizes, with cookies, chips, and bars, not to mention its many beverages and better-for-you frozen treats. Under the Bombbar banner are a few subbrands like Chikalab and Snaq Fabriq, and starting this year, there is also Mad Fit.
From what we can tell, Mad Fit is another one of Bombbar’s separately branded lines of products, which debuted with a high-protein bar and has just been chased up with a delicious-looking Protein Brownie. The edible innovation comes as a circular cake, not your traditional brownie shape, and inside is a thick and smooth main body with a flavorful outer. The protein isn’t supremely high, sitting at around 7g of protein per piece with around the same amount of carbohydrates, low sugar, a high fat count over 10g, and just under 200 calories.
Bombbar and Mad Fit appear to be going for a flavor-first experience in Protein Brownie, where, similar to the original Mad Fit Protein Bar, you get a more moderate amount of protein with minimal sugar but an all-out decadent taste and texture. The product comes in a whole host of flavors, including Salted Caramel, Pear, Blue Berries, Cherry, Strawberry, and Raspberry Pistachio, all available direct at ₽910 (11.84 USD) for a box of ten.
