Eddie Hall’s brand Beast, which has been around for many years, competes in all of the important supplement categories, as well as some lesser-known ones. With protein powder, pre-workout, hydration, aminos, sleep, and even testosterone boosting, the brand has enough to cover most needs of consumers. The brand has played in functional food a bit with its Beast Biltong and its Skinny Food collaboration, although this month it has gone a more traditional route.
New to market over in the United Kingdom, where Eddie Hall’s Beast brand is based, is the Beast High Protein Bar. It is in the classic and convenient bar format, packing 25g of protein in a size that’s suitably bigger than your average competitor, weighing 80g a piece. The carbohydrates are similarly high at 24g, with about half of that sugar, 12g of fat, and calories ending on 297, all mixed with a soft-baked core, crispy protein pieces, gooey salted caramel, and a covering of rich milk chocolate.
The Beast High Protein Bar is heavy compared to your usual 60g snack with 20g of protein and around 200 calories, but again, this is coming from World’s Strongest Man Eddie Hall, so it makes sense that it’s big and dense. It is expected to make up for that in taste as well, as it’s made with real milk chocolate and has enough sugar where it better be good. The edible innovation will be going live shortly over at beast.co.uk, with boxes of 12 set to cost £29.99 (40.33 USD)
