Young brand Maxed makes its first appearance at FIBO with its hybrid protein caffeine drink

Maxed Clear Protein Energy Drink

Maxed is a young functional beverage company in Germany that is not even one year old yet and has made its first-ever appearance at the major FIBO Expo going down this weekend at Koelnmesse in Cologne. It is an impressive milestone for a brand that only started in the middle of last year with its signature hybrid innovation that falls between the world of ready-to-drink protein and energy.

The boldly red-colored and flat Maxed Clear Protein Drink features 21g of quality protein, as it comes from milk isolate, not collagen or any other incomplete source. If you’re wondering why 21g, that’s because the German brand packed as much as it could before it started getting away from a delicious taste. The rest of the nutrition profile is nice and lean, with absolutely no sugar, carbohydrates, or fat, leaving you 89 calories, all from the protein.

The intriguing twist that makes the Maxed beverage a hybrid is that it is available with or without caffeine, although the stimulant doesn’t get that high at just 99mg in a 330ml can. There is only one flavor available at the moment, in a ripe red apple, and there are plans to eventually add more, with hints of many others at FIBO. You can check it out for yourself at maxeddrink.com, and buy through there too in as small as a six-pack at €17.95 (21.18 USD).
