Muscle Martini not your usual amino, GAT's cocktail reviewed as uniquely different

Of all the post-workouts on the market the most unique one of them all has turned out to be one of the best. GAT’s Muscle Martini came out a while ago and was mainly pushed by it’s flavoring. Peach mango, watermelon and mixed berry all sound amazing, but then again doesn’t anything with the word candy attached to it.

The best words to describe Martini’s taste is, deliciously sweet. The unique variants make it impossible to not like the amino acid cocktail. However don’t be taken away by the emphasis on it’s drinkability. It performs at a level beyond what anyone could have expected based on the facts label.

Instead of going big on a BCAA complex, GAT went with a 6.175g spread of various amino acids. Out of the 11 man matrix you will find 5 superstars, glutamine, isoleucine, leucine, taurine, valine and citrulline. The brand has always been a fan of proprietary blends so it is no surprise they do not list the ratio or even the amount of BCAAs on the bottle. Although after doing some digging around the ratio turns out to be the commonly used 2:1:1.

Not only does Martini include a rare spree of aminos it also consists of a anti-catabolic matrix. Some of the contents in the combo may sound familiar, others not so much. Beet powder, withania somnifera, indian gooseberry, ornithine AKG, trans-alanyl-glutamine, goji and acai extract. An odd mix but one that produces a unique result in a very consistent category.

Unlike the revitalizing recovery effects of Aminolast, AminoX and Monster Amino. Martini promotes a impressively strong refreshing sensation. This would be partly due to the interesting taste but after a few minutes it does follow through with a more than average refueled feeling.

It definitely gets one of the top spots in the amino category. The unique results the supplement provides sets it apart from the rest. It does not compete so well against the recovery power of the others. The muscles will remain a bit sore but it’s re-energizing sensation is something not even Monster Amino touches on.

Muscle Martini is different and more than worth a try, even if it is just a single sample sachet. Because of the product’s various effects it is only useful post-workout, it does not have the convenience of the pre-workout option. It holds a retail price between the more expensive Aminolast and well priced AminoX. So if amino cocktails are part of your regular stack it won’t be a budget stretch to give this one a go.
