Amino spiking awareness spreading, GNC Real Protein promoting their own clean supplements

From Stack3d
GNC against amino spiking with their protein powder all claimed to be clean

A lot of big brands and people have spoken out about amino acid spiking recently, helping spread the word on the issue. The latest one to throw in their two cents is actually probably the biggest name to do so, GNC. The nutrition retail giant have put together a page going over the protein powder problem, explaining exactly what it is and how brands are doing it. The whole thing has unsurprisingly been uploaded to help support their own protein supplements, however on top of the brief description GNC give on amino spiking. They actually go one step further with a table comparing their Pro Performance 100% Whey Protein to three other products. None of the products are named and shamed, but they are listed with claimed protein amount, actual amount, and the most interesting part, initials of brands on their bottles. While the supplements and initials in the comparison chart may in fact just be there for show, there is the possibility that it could be hinting at a few real protein powders. Either way the Real Protein page does show that GNC are highly against the spiking issue, and looking to help spread awareness on the problem.
