Barebells’ unstoppable innovation continues in an intriguing Banana Bread Protein Bar

Banana Bread Barebells Protein Bar

Our 2025 Functional Brand Of The Year, Barebells, has been on absolute fire this year, showing that last year’s relentless run of innovation in the world of functional food and delicious protein snacks wasn’t a one-off thing. The international brand has pumped out several flavors over the last few months, including many mouthwatering creations, from Camp S’mores and Mint Chocolate Crisp to the lighter surprises in Orange Creamsicle and Strawberry Sundae.

Continuing the innovation this month for Barebells is yet another completely new flavor, leaning into a warm, delicious, and familiar home-baked food with banana bread. The brand has recreated all of the distinct tastes and hints of that in the all-new Banana Bread Barebells Protein Bar. It is made with cocoa nibs, unsweetened chocolate, and freeze-dried banana for an authentic taste, alongside the product’s usual 20g of protein and just over 200 calories.

The intriguing new Banana Bread Barebells Protein Bar is rolling out all across the U.S., from big box retailers to specialty and shop.barebells.com. It’ll be interesting to see how this one tastes, as it’s a rather different direction for the brand from the usual decadent dessert experiences, and it could very easily lead to many other baked treat inspirations.
