While chicken protein powder isn’t anything new, when 4+ Nutrition confirmed their interest in the type of supplement it marked the first time a major brand had been seen using the form. We were still a little unsure after the confirmation as 4+ had only shown a glimpse of their upcoming product. Now however we have the protein’s official name Hydro CGI+ as well as it’s facts panel, revealing everything. Looking at it’s label per 30g scoop the brand have packed a solid 27g of chicken protein isolate, just 600mg of carbohydrates, zero fat and sugar, and an incredibly low 113 calories. Other highlights that 4+ Nutrition are promoting with CGI+ include lactose, soy and dairy free, being chicken protein a high biological value, and a 12% BCAA share of the amino acid profile. In terms of options fans of the brand are going to be limited on this one with just two flavors, chocolate and lemon tropical, in the usual two sizes 900g and 2kg. By the looks of things the supplement appears to be ready to go, so if you have a local 4+ stockist expect to see it in there soon.
