Performix relies on Pronativ native whey for its Iridium Series protein

Earlier this week we got a blurred out look at an all new protein powder from Performix’s more advanced Iridium Series. The brand didn’t really say anything outside of the fact that the product is some kind of protein powder. The strangest thing to us was that Performix blurred out the supplement’s title, as if it gives everything away. We’ve now actually got the protein’s details and can confirm that its title does indeed reveal its point of difference.

The official name of the brand’s second protein powder, the first being Pro Whey+, is Performix Native ISO Whey. As you can probably guess the Iridium Series product sets itself apart from almost every other protein by relying on Pronativ branded native whey as its only protein source. If that form sounds at all familiar you may remember it from the likes of the recently released RivalUs formula Native Pro 100 or Nutristat’s well-flavored Puretein. The thing that mainly sets native whey apart from your regular whey is that it’s extracted directly from milk rather than cheese. The result is a cleaner type of protein with no added ingredients, less fat and a higher concentration of protein.

While using Pronativ protein as its only source is already an interesting angle, that isn’t all Performix has done to separate Native ISO Whey from its competitors. The brand has also thrown in the probiotic GanedenBC30, saying the addition enhances protein utilization and absorption, as well as aids in digestion and immune support. Lastly much like Performix’s other protein competitor, Native ISO Whey does feature Terra Bead time-release BCAAs.

Moving on to the actual label of the Iridium Series protein, despite being quite complex its macros are all quite typical. Each 35g serving (Fruity Charms) packs 25g of protein, 5g of carbohydrates (3g sugar), 2g of fat and 130 calories. The only step left now is for Performix to launch Native ISO Whey, which is unfortunately something we don’t yet have any kind of time frame on.
