Layne Norton talks about his role in the formulation of Carbon’s supplements

carbon by layne norton

In light of all the drama that’s gone down recently around Jim Stoppani and Bodybuilding.com, Layne Norton has been getting a lot of questions about how his Bodybuilding.com brand Carbon works. Norton has actually put together an eight-minute video called “Do I Formulate My Own Products? – Addressing the JYM Issue”, answering the big question he’s included in the title.

You can see the full YouTube video from Layne Norton below, which starts off with him talking about why he’s made the video and that he has nothing but good things to say about Jim Stoppani, the Jym line, and Bodybuilding.com. After all of that Norton gets into the main topic and goes over what his roles are when it comes to the formulation of the supplements from Carbon.

Basically Layne Norton is the one that comes up with all of the product ideas that have resulted in Carbon’s current three competitors, Prep, Recover, and the protein powder Build. Norton also has final say on everything to do with the supplements but does acknowledge a formulator that he works with at Bodybuilding.com. Once again, you can check out the full video above which packs all the important answers and information in the first few minutes.
