New Core PWO preview confirms the protein synthesis enhancer Velositol

Over the past few months we’ve heard a lot of talk about a new version of Core Nutritionals’ Core PWO, in fact we posted about it back in June when we heard that it would feature some kind of special ingredient. All these months later the brand has now finally dropped a preview of its updated Core PWO, as it is due to be released very soon.

Like most previews of new supplements, our first look at the reformulated Core PWO doesn’t give us everything we need to know. It includes just a handful of highlights from its formula and confirmation of the three flavors it’s going to be launched in.

Core PWO is obviously going to remain as a post-workout product, keeping a solid base of protein and carbohydrates. The only specific details we have in that area are that it will use non-GMO whey protein isolate, and that its carbohydrates are going to come from a combination of sources.

The new Core PWO is also being promoted with “added free-form leucine”, which makes us wonder if instead of adding BCAAs like the current version it’s switched to only leucine. The one last detail we have is what could be the secret ingredient Core was talking about back in June. The updated Core PWO has been confirmed to feature Velositol, a patented ingredient used to help increase muscle protein synthesis.

From here the wait is on for the launch of Core’s new and improved Core PWO, which as mentioned is happening very soon. The brand has said the new supplement is going to be detailed further and available in just three weeks time. When it arrives around Christmas it will have three, 4.26lb flavors on its menu in Peanut Butter Toffee, Vanilla Cake, and Chocolate Brownie Batter.
