The first ever edible Performix product is finally here, with the supplement it originally unveiled back in May, the Performix Protein Wafers. Fortunately, unlike the first time the item was posted about, we now have everything you need to know about it.
Macros per wafer bar
As previously confirmed, the new Performix Protein Wafers are a high protein snack, with two creme filled wafer bars in each packet. The macros making up a single wafer stick are 6.5g of protein mostly from fast acting whey isolate, 3.5g of carbohydrates, 7.5g of fat, and a total of 105 calories. You can simply double those numbers for an entire packet, as mentioned, each one comes with two wafer sticks.
Another detail well worth sharing about the Perfomix Protein Wafers is that the brand promotes them as “Ingredient Optimized”. We’ve now got an official description on exactly what that is directly from the brand, saying that the product “harnesses the power of iO to alter protein’s structure at the molecular level by increasing surface area to optimize absorption and digestion.” Basically, the extra feature helps your body with digestion and absorption of the delicious looking snack.
Now available at GNC
The latest from Performix has finally arrived at the major retailer GNC, where it is now available in three different flavors. The options you have to choose from for the protein snack are Vanilla Peanut Butter, Chocolate Peanut Butter, and the cereal inspired Fruity Charms. The Performix Protein Wafers come in boxes of 12, which works out to 24 wafers, costing just over $1 each at $24.99.
