Select Protein Bar is here with no aftertaste and a perfect balance of flavor

PEScience has followed through on the hype this week and launched its first ever protein bar which carries on the legacy of its popular Select Protein. The product is simply titled Select Protein Bar, and it looks very different from the many other bar competitors out there.

The brand has said that it’s spent a solid two years developing the Select Protein Bar. Through those years its tweaked the formula here and there up until the point it was completely satisfied with the result. PEScience claims the long-awaited bar has zero aftertaste, a texture more like a dessert, and the perfect balance of flavor.

Flavors

The exciting Select Protein Bar has released in a total of two different flavors with Chocolate Peanut Butter and the delicious sounding White Chocolate Raspberry. PEScience has said that the product is “Like Nothing You’ve Tried Before”, which is enough to have made us already purchase a box of each flavor.

Nutrition profile

The Select Protein Bar has a set of macros as lean as most of its competitors and a clean set of ingredients. Each bar provides 19g of protein from a blend of calcium caseinate, hydrolyzed whey and milk isolate, and casein protein. Its other macros include 26g of carbohydrates with 12g of that fiber and 2g sugar, 7g of fat, for a total of 210 calories.

The nutrition profile does vary between the two Select Protein Bar flavors, although not by much (white chocolate label above). The protein remains consistent at 19g per bar with the only changes being that the Chocolate Peanut Butter has a gram more fat, and the White Chocolate Raspberry has 2g more carbohydrates.
