The major supplement company Optimum Nutrition, recently teamed up with Bodybuilding.com’s non-profit Lift Life Foundation for an awesome gym makeover. Michele Clark High School, a public school in Austin, Chicago won the makeover after submitting a compelling nomination video last year.

On Friday of last week, the school finally got to see their upgraded fitness facility which is named the Officer Carolyn Brown Fitness Center in honor of police officer Carolyn Brown. Brown served at the school and coached various teams, and sadly passed away from an illness during the gyms renovation.

Optimum Nutrition and the Lift Life Foundation have completely packed out the Officer Carolyn Brown Fitness Center as you can see in the image above. It’s themed with Michele Clark High School colors and features Olympic lifting platforms, a multi-functional lifting station, all new sets of dumbbells, and more.

“A modern fitness facility with advanced equipment can make a big difference in motivating, engaging and encouraging students,” said Trevin Morton, senior brand manager for ON. “Beyond the physical health benefits, we believe that exercise can help manage stress, boost confidence and encourage goal-setting. ON was moved by the positive attitude and commitment of Michele Clark’s students and staff and we are thrilled to play a role in their future success.”
