Chikalab is a spin-off brand from the up and coming Russian company Bombbar, that specializes in delicious high protein foods. This week Chikalab has introduced an all-new creation for its small but growing family of products, and it could possibly be its best protein snack to date.
Bombbar’s latest Chikalab release is the Chikapie, which is one of the most mouthwatering snacks we’ve seen in quite some time. What the product is exactly, is a soft cookie packed with a sweet buttercream filling, then on the outside, it is coated in delicious milk chocolate.
The Cikapie from Chikalab comes in three great-sounding flavors with Chocolate and White Buttercream, Coconut and Hazelnut Buttercream, and Peanut and Cashew Buttercream. They all have roughly the same macros with a solid 15g of protein per pie coming from quality whey and milk concentrate.
The other numbers making up the Chikapie nutrition profile are around 13g of fat, between 3.5 to 4.2g of carbs, absolutely no sugar, and just 216 to 219 calories. Those macros are actually fairly impressive for such a unique protein snack, especially if it tastes anywhere near as good as it looks.
The mouthwatering Chikapie from Chikalab is going to be available from Bombbar’s European website very soon. The brand is already listing the creative and tasty looking treat at bombbar.org, which confirms when it does eventually arrive, it’ll cost you €17.33 (19.47 USD) for a box of nine.
