The plant-based brand OWYN has introduced another protein beverage, although it is quite a bit different from its original shake with 20g of protein. The latest addition to the brand’s lineup is the OWYN Meal Replacement Shake that you can currently only purchase online.
The new supplement is made with a lot of the same ingredients as the brand’s regular protein drink, including the protein sources pea and pumpkin seed protein. The OWYN Meal Replacement Shake actually has the same amount of protein as that other beverage with a total of 20g.
Where the product sets itself apart is it has carbohydrate sources in the mix to give it 31g of carbs per bottle with 5g of that sugar. Its other macros include 10g of fat for a more meal replacement-like calorie total of 300. OWYN has also thrown in 23 vitamins and minerals, all at 20% of your daily value.
OWYN has launched its more calorie-dense Meal Replacement Shake in two tastes with Chocolate, and Chai which has an extra 100mg of caffeine from green coffee bean. The supplement is available from OWYN’s website in packs of four for $19.99 with all bottles in one flavor or two of each.
