Rising Labs takes a transparent approach with its protein powder Mongrel

That 1 Leg Monster’s brand Rising Labs, recently confirmed it would be getting into the protein powder market with a supplement named Mongrel. This week it has gone ahead and done that, revealing everything you need to know about the product as well as making it available for pre-order through its website.

Rising Labs Mongrel is a blend-style protein powder, featuring more than just one source of protein. The brand has also actually taken a rare, transparent approach to the supplement, and listed the exact amount of protein you get from each of its three sources, which is something very few companies and products do.

Each serving of Mongrel provides 26g of protein, with 10g of that from fast-absorbing whey isolate, then 8g each of whey concentrate and slow-digesting casein. The brand has brought together the various types of protein to ensure Mongrel fuels muscle protein synthesis for up to eight hours after throwing back your shake.

The rest of the nutrition profile for Rising Labs Mongrel consists of 2g of sugar, just half a gram of fat, and calorie count of 120. The brand has also included the premium and patented absorption enhancing ingredient AstraGin at a dose of 50mg per serving.

As mentioned, you can now pre-order the Mongrel protein powder through the Rising Labs website at the relatively high price of $59.99 for a 30 serving tub. The supplement comes in two flavors with Chocolate Truffle and a very unique Fried Ice Cream, with pre-orders due to ship in three and a half weeks on the 25th of February.
