Myprotein researches over 100 playlists to find the best music to train to

myprotein workout music research

We’ve got some slightly different news from Myprotein this week, which is not supplement or ingredient related; however, it does involve a good amount of research. The brand has analyzed over 100 different playlists for working out, including multiple types and genres of music, to find the best tracks to listen to while training.

A quick summary from Myprotein’s research experiment found “Don’t Waste My Time” by Kept & Konan to be the top boxing track, and Tiësto to be the most common artist to listen to while working out. “Power” from Kanye West is the most commonly listened to track, while “No Surprises” from Radiohead is the worst song to train with.

Myprotein looked at several different stats for its analysis of each track, including beats per minute, loudness, mood, popularity, energy, and how well you can dance to it. To read more about the brand’s findings, head to its website, where it has also put together a quiz to put you down the right path based on its research results.
