Maximuscle’s lean gainer Progain gets more carbs and calories for 2020

As they say, good things come in threes, which is this the case this month for the UK-based company Maximuscle, who has dropped its third new supplement in one week with Progain. Much like the legacy brand’s last two launches Promax Lean and Cyclone, Progain is a protein product, although it’s a much more nutritionally dense than either of those other two.

Maximuscle’s newest version of Progain is a mass gainer of sorts, pairing a good amount of protein with a reasonably high number of carbohydrates and a moderate amount of fat. Each hefty 120g serving of the supplement packs 37g of protein from whey concentrate and calcium caseinate, 54g of carbs from maltodextrin, and 13g of fat with 500 calories.

Fans of Maximuscle that used the previous Progain will notice increases in the carbohydrates and calories with the updated edition, although the numbers aren’t as high as we’ve seen in other gainers. The revamped product still aims to help users build muscle size and strength by making it easier to get in a good amount of protein, carbs, and calories.

The new Progain is now available through Maximuscle’s direct-to-consumer online store alongside its other new protein supplements, Promax Lean and Cyclone. Like with those other items, the UK brand is running a deal on the lean gainer to celebrate its release where you can get one ten serving tub at £30, or buy two and save £5 on each at £25 (30.86 USD) per tub.

Maximuscle has put together four flavors for its 2020 version of Progain, which are the same four options on the menus of the new Promax Lean and Cyclone with Chocolate, Vanilla, Strawberry, and Banoffee.
