All-new canned version of ABB’s Pure Pro RTD still packing a strong 50g of protein

abb pure pro in an aluminum can

As posted last month, the widely available and long-running protein beverage brand American Body Building or more simply known as ABB, is relaunching its Pure Pro, protein RTD in a convenient aluminum can. The new format is replacing the product’s resealable aluminum bottle and also has slightly more volume to it being a 15oz can, compared to the bottle and its 14.5oz.

The nutrition profile of ABB’s can-packaged Pure Pro is still led by a solid 50g of protein from a blend of milk and whey concentrate. Alongside that in the updated product’s Vanilla Bean flavor is 5g of carbohydrates with 3g of that sugar and 2g fiber, just 2g of fat, and 240 calories. Those numbers do vary slightly across the repackaged Pure Pro’s four flavors, although that 50g of protein remains consistent.

At the moment, it is only the Vanilla Bean flavor of the Pure Pro can that is available, with ABB’s website listing Cookies and Cream, Chocolate Peanut Butter, and Milk Chocolate as out of stock for now. You can purchase the product directly through the brand’s online store at $48.99 for a case of 12, or if you don’t mind waiting, Amazon has it for $43.16, but stock is not due to arrive until May 14th.
