Dutch newcomer FITTR packs its functional soda with 11g of whey-powered protein

Drink Fittr Protein Drink

Ready-to-drink protein brands are emerging in all corners of the industry and countries from around the world, and this week, we’re highlighting the newcomer FITTR from all the way in the Netherlands. The young Dutch competitor hasn’t been on the market that long, not even a year, but it has already found its way into mainstream retailers like Plus Supermarket, Deka Market, and the globally known Circle K.

FITTR has gone the right way about formulating its protein drink, and by that we mean it uses a clean, quality, and complete source in its drink with whey isolate, providing 11g of protein in a slim 250ml can. The brand also uses acesulfame K and sucralose to keep the rest of the nutrition to a minimum or actually non-existent at zero carbohydrates, sugar, and fat, leaving the calories as good as you can get at 46.

There is also a surprise infusion of caffeine in FITTR’s protein soda, although don’t expect any huge amount of energy, as there isn’t any mention of how much is in there, and it’s at the bottom of the ingredient list, meaning there is less caffeine than even citric acid. The newcomer currently has two flavors to choose from in the orange and mango experience, Tropical, and the raspberry-themed Red Fruit. You can get them at any of the retailers mentioned or go direct where you can get a single can at €2.19 (2.52 USD).
