Myprotein drops high-protein chips alongside its protein wafers

It turns out Crispy Wafers is not the only on-the-go protein snack Myprotein has dropped this week in the US. The popular international brand has also introduced a chip style product simply named Myprotein Chips. It is a small 35g bag of crunchy and crispy, circular chips that are packed with protein and relatively low everywhere else, including low carbohydrates and calories.

Each bag of the new Myprotein Chips provides 14g of protein, 9g of carbohydrates with less than a gram of that sugar, 4.5g of fat, and 120 calories. As you can see, those macros are pretty solid compared to most other on-the-go protein snacks. Your typical bar has around 20g of protein and 200 calories, where the Chips scaled to 20g of protein only come with 171 calories.

While the nutrition profile is on point in Myprotein Chips, like with all snacks and functional foods, it comes down to taste. We’ve yet to try the product, but it is now available from the brand’s dedicated US online store in two flavors, BBQ and Salt & Vinegar. From us.myprotein.com, the high-protein chips will cost you $19.99 for a box of six, or $11.99 if you use the limited time code ‘MYDEAL’.
