Fulfil Nutrition is a protein bar brand from Ireland, which has grown a lot over the almost five years it’s been on the market, expanding all across the UK and Europe into several stores and stockists. Fulfil has also managed to fill out its protein bar’s menu, taking it to a total of ten different tastes, including Caramel & Cookie Dough, and Chocolate Salted Caramel.

With all that Fulfil Nutrition has done, it was only a matter of time before it ventured across the pond into the US market, something only a few European functional brands have done successfully. Fulfil is now officially available in the country and has been picked up by the convenience store chain Circle K, who has just started stocking the protein bar in Texas and Arizona.
If you’re a fan of candy bar-style protein bars, then Fulfil Nutrition’s flagship protein snack is worth picking up. We liken it a lot to the Carb Killa Protein Bar, although its textures aren’t as smooth, and Grenade does an incredible job with its variety of flavors. While we have tried the Fulfil protein bar in Europe, the one in the US (pictured above) is surprisingly quite different.
Original vs US version
Fulfil Nutrition’s protein bar for America is much smaller, weighing 40g instead of 55, with slightly less protein at 15g instead of 20. The protein also primarily comes from collagen, as it is the first entry in its list of ingredients. That is not the case for the original Fulfil protein bar, which has milk protein as its first and biggest ingredient.
The rest of the product’s macros are as different from the European protein bar (pictured above) as the protein count, with the Chocolate Brownie flavor having 15g of carbohydrates, 1g of sugar, 6g of fat, and 160 calories. Chocolate Brownie is one of the four flavors the brand has brought to the US, with the others being Chocolate Peanut Caramel, Chocolate Peanut Butter, and Chocolate Salted Caramel.
Based on all of the changes in size and ingredients, and some of the pictures we’ve seen, we do wonder how the Fulfil Nutrition protein bar in America compares to the one in Europe. As mentioned, it is surprising to see all of the differences, especially since the original in its ten tasty flavors has proven to be quite popular in Europe.
