Snickers finally gets into supplements in the US with a protein powder and bar

For years, the UK and Europe have had authentic candy bar supplements from the candy company Mars, including Snickers and Mars protein powders and protein bars. We’ve also seen a Bounty protein bar, a Milky Way protein bar, a Twix protein powder, and a Maltesers protein powder. The UK and Europe are now no longer the only places you can get authentic Snickers supplements.

Snickers Hi Protein powder and bar have finally come to the US, with similar simplicity to the Snickers protein powder and bar across the pond. The Snickers Hi Protein powder is a chocolate, caramel, and peanut-flavored product with 20g of protein per serving from a blend of whey concentrate and isolate, and milk isolate, a high 9g of carbohydrates, 3.5g of fat, and 150 calories.

The macros on the Snickers protein powder are far from as lean as your typical competitor, with the average dairy-based protein supplement packing 25g of protein and between 120 to 130 calories. The macros on the Snickers Hi Protein Bar are a bit more common with 20g of protein, 22g of carbohydrates with 5g of that sugar, 10g of fat, and a calorie count of 240.

The Snickers protein bar does look delicious in pictures, with a traditional Snickers build of a thick base layer topped with rich caramel and crunchy peanuts, then wrapped in sweet milk chocolate. The supplements are relatively typical, but of course, coming from Snickers, it’s all about flavor, although we hope this Hi Protein powder and bar are better than the ones we had.

We’ve tried the Snickers protein products in the UK and Europe, and while they’re not bad, they don’t taste any different from your usual chocolate, caramel, and peanut supplements. We’ve got our fingers crossed for something better with the US entries, which are available from snickershiprotein.com at $29.99 for the powder and $24.99 for a box of 12 bars.
