Similar to Inspired Nutraceuticals, Australian brand Red Dragon Nutritionals has announced an all-new, casein-based protein powder simply named ‘Custard’. It provides a solid 25g of protein per serving, 1.9g of fat, a somewhat high 6.3g of carbohydrates with 5g of that sugar, and a calorie count of 151, with slight variations across its variety of flavors.
Red Dragon Nutritionals is planning to launch Custard sometime early next month, and as mentioned, it is going to have a strong selection of flavors, with five tastes to choose from. They are Vanilla Custard, Caramel Cookie Butter, White Chocolate Cake Batter with white chocolate pieces, Chocolate Hazelnut, also with chocolate pieces, and Chocolate Popping Candy, which does indeed have chocolate-coated popping candy in it.
Red Dragon Nutritionals has added a few extra features to Custard to make it more than a typical casein protein powder, formula wise, with MCTs and prebiotic fiber to support gut health and digestion. Once again, Red Dragon Custard is due to be out and available early next month in a 2.2lb tub, so sometime within the next four to three to five weeks.
