Swedish functional brand NJIE has introduced an all-new on-the-go protein shake this week under its ProPud brand, separate from its high-protein ProPud Milkshake. The critical difference in the newest NJIE protein RTD is its source of protein, which is mentioned right in its name with the ProPud Kvarg Shake or translated to, ProPud Quark Shake.
NJIE’s ProPud Quark Shake is indeed an on-the-go protein drink made using soft and smooth quark, giving the product a strong 20g of protein per shake. The rest of its nutrition profile is relatively lean, including 5.3g of fat, 15.8g of carbohydrates with absolutely no sugar, and 195 calories, with the numbers staying the same for both its Mandarin Madness and Pink Lemonade flavors.
Another interesting feature of ProPud Quark Shake, outside of its extremely unique quark-based formula, is both of the flavors are authentic collaborations. NJIE has teamed up with fellow Swedish beverage company Fun Light known for its sugar-free juice. Mandarin Madness and Pink Lemonade are, in fact, flavors from the Fun Light family, making them that little bit more intriguing.
NJIE has said its ProPud Quark Shake is due to be available in its home country of Sweden in both its Mandarin Madness and Pink Lemonade flavors, from week seven, which is next week.
