Charged coffee brand Throne makes a series of latte flavors packing 10g of protein

Throne Premium Charged Coffee

Throne has debuted an all-new functional Sport Coffee beverage, similar in some ways, but still quite separate from its Premium Charged Cold Brew. The brand’s original product is a blend of carabica coffee, extra natural caffeine for 150mg per can, BCAAs, B vitamins, and electrolytes for hydration. As per the name, it is a charged cold brew, although even more functionality has been added for Throne Premium Charged Coffee.

Premium Charged Coffee has many of those same benefits, featuring an arabica coffee base, B vitamins, electrolytes, BCAAs, and that uplifting 150mg of caffeine. Where things take a turn is, Throne has added protein to its Premium Charged Coffee at 10g in a sleek 325ml can. It isn’t a protein shake or a supremely high amount, although as with most functional items, it’s a seamless way to add an extra 10g of protein to your day.

Throne Premium Charged Coffee

The complete nutrition profile of Throne’s Sport Coffee innovation follows that 10g of protein with 24g of carbohydrates, almost all of that added sugar at 22g, and 140 calories. We would’ve preferred to see the carbs remain as low as they are in the original Premium Charged Cold Brew at 10g. In Premium Charged Coffee, you do get 10g of protein, but it comes at a cost as there are 14g more carbs, and that clearly pumps up the calories.

Throne has launched Premium Charged Coffee in four flavors to start, all of them made with lactose-free milk for an authentic latte taste. There is Mocha Java, a regular Coffee Latte, Salted Caramel, and French Vanilla. Since the start of the year, we’ve seen countless brands make products with extra protein, a trend Throne continues in its second Sport Coffee beverage, which costs the same as the Premium Charged Cold Brew.
