Gold Standard goes from meal pots to protein bars with its Rocky Road release

gold standard nutrition rocky road protein bar

Gold Standard Nutrition, the UK brand known for its convenient, high-protein, and healthy, Pot O Gold meals, have released something a little out of its regular realm with the Rocky Road Protein Bar. The product aims to provide a traditional rocky road experience from a variety of tastes to rocky texture, all while offering a somewhat high-protein nutrition profile.

The all-new Rocky Road Protein Bar from Gold Standard Nutrition packs 16g of protein per, a little less than that usual 20, with whey and soy nuggets being the primary protein sources. That protein does come with quite a few carbohydrates at 23g, 13g of that sugar, 11g of fat, and a calorie count of 241, so not as lean as the likes of a Carb Killa of Barebells Protein Bar.

Gold Standard Nutrition’s Rocky Road Protein Bar is available to order through its online store in packs of three at £5 (6.89 USD), which works out to a relatively fair £1.66 (2.29 USD) a piece. You can also try the product free if you make a direct purchase in the next few days, as through until March 31st, the brand is throwing in a free Rocky Road with every order.
