Prime infuses its milk-based protein shake with 3g of stable CreaShield creatine

Prime Creatine Protein Shake

Prime may have started in the hydration space with its signature Prime Hydration Drink; however, it has since shifted into many other beverage spaces with the Prime Energy Drink and, more recently, the delicious Prime Protein Shake. The ready-to-drink protein made with premium ultra-filtered milk, saw the brand get together with influencers throughout the health and fitness industry and promote the product’s benefits with 32g of protein per can and just 160 calories.

Prime is quickly chasing up its protein beverage with an even more functional extension in the Prime Protein Creatine Shake or Protein Shake + Creatine, as it’s officially titled. It is the original protein drink with 32g of protein, no added sugar, and 160 calories, plus 3g of muscle-building creatine monohydrate. More importantly, Prime uses something called CreaShield to protect the creatine from breaking down, a long-standing problem with the ingredient in any sort of solution.

Prime Creashield

Creatine is notoriously unstable in a drink, which is one of the reasons why you don’t see it in that format as much. Prime not only acknowledges that in its Protein Creatine Shake but claims to have solved it, again, using CreaShield to protect the beneficial ingredient and keep it stable.

The Prime Protein Creatine Shake is making its way out into the market in three flavors, the same three as the protein-focused variety, with a rich Chocolate, smooth Vanilla, and classic Cookies and Cream. They all have those same highlights in 32g of protein from ultra-filtered milk, no added sugar, 160 calories, and 3g of CreaShield creatine in an 11oz can. The price is expected to be a bit higher for the creatine-infused protein drink, although still within reason for a grab-and-go product.
