GymBeam combines granola and plant protein with a sweet chocolate flavor

Giant European retailer and brand GymBeam has expanded the functional side of its extensive lineup once again with the crunchy, chocolate-flavored Protein Granola. As per its name, it is granola infused with protein, made with oat flakes, soy protein, pea isolate, maltodextrin, and rice flour, and since it only has plant-based ingredients, it is completely vegan-friendly.

With GymBeam’s Protein Granola being granola-based, it does, of course, have a good amount of carbohydrates with a 50g serving packing 23g of carbohydrates, 6.5g of sugar, 7.5g of fat, 10.5g of protein, and 206 calories. As mentioned, the plant-based product is chocolate-flavored, combining that higher carbohydrate nutrition profile with an enjoyable chocolate taste.

You can grab Protein Granola starting this month from GymBeam’s website, and while it doesn’t come in an overly large size at 300g, the price no it is not all that bad at a reasonable €3.55 (4.22 USD).
