Big Zone creates a vegan-friendly version of Battle Whey called Battle Vhey

Battle Whey is the premier protein powder from German brand Big Zone, which keeps things relatively straightforward on the formula side, packing 22.6g of protein per serving, from whey with a moderate 116 calories. Like many other brands on the market, Big Zone has now come out and put together a spin-off of Battle Whey that is plant-based and vegan-friendly.

Big Zone’s newest supplement puts a clever spin on the name of its original Battle Whey with Battle Vhey, and provides about the same amount of protein at 22.8g from pea and rice protein. The rest of the product’s nutrition profile is also around the same as the brand’s Battle Whey, with 900mg of carbohydrates, virtually no sugar, 2.4g of fat, and a calorie count of 119.

Big Zone’s Battle Vhey is available now through its retail partner Gigas Nutrition, where it has only one flavor to choose from at the moment in the naturally-sweetened Chocolate Hazelnut. The supplement’s price is another feature it has in common with Battle Whey, as they’re both €22.90 (27.71 USD) for a 1kg bag, which works out to about 33 servings.
