Macro Mike fans can now easily make their own high-protein plant-based pudding

Australian functional food company Macro Mike has introduced an all-new type of product this week, separate from its many protein snacks, baking mixes, and other healthy creations. The brand’s latest is somewhat self-explanatory with “Plant Protein Pudding”, a bulk powder supplement that you can use to make a pudding that’s high in protein and plant-based.

In a 40g serving of Macro Mike’s Plant Protein Pudding, you get a bit below and above, 22g of protein, coming from the plant protein sources, almond and fava bean protein. The rest of the macros are relatively low, with anywhere from 3.5 to 6.3g of carbohydrates, depending on the flavor, a touch under 4g of that sugar, 3.4 to 4.4g of fat, and 139 to 142 calories.

As reasonable as the macros of Plant Protein Pudding are, the more interesting areas of the Macro Mike product are its flavors and simplicity. The pudding has six options: Creamy Vanilla, Peanut Butter, Banana Custard, Berry White Choc, Chocolate Fudge, and Almond Delight. As for its simplicity, all you need to turn the powder into pudding is whisk it with 80ml of water or plant milk until smooth, and it’s ready to enjoy.

Macro Mike’s vegan-friendly Plant Protein Pudding is available through its website, alongside its many other products, at $44.95 (34.84 USD) for a bag of 12 servings. There are bulk packs as well going as big and cost-effective as four for $38.74 (30.02 USD) each, and a variety bundle with single-serving sample packs of each flavor at $29.95 (23.21 USD).
