Skinny Food Co drops the first look at its twist on the UK’s rainbow-covered Smarties candy

The Skinny Food Co is one of the more creative and consistent functional companies out there, despite not being as busy this year as it was in 2020. The brand is flexing its creativity once again this week, revealing an all-new product it says is coming down the pipeline, and it is something we’ve seen from a couple of other brands, one doing it well and the other not so much.

Skinny Chocaholic Drops is the previewed product from The Skinny Food Co. It appears to be the functional brand’s take on the classic rainbow-colored chocolate candy in the UK, Smarties, similar to the more widely known M&M’s. Skinny Chocaholic Drops have a lot less sugar, 90% less according to their packaging at only 1.4g per tube, and an impressive total of 86 calories.

The Skinny Food Co’s upcoming Skinny Chocaholic Drops do look and sound good, although like with most healthy snacks and low-calorie foods, it’s going to come down to taste. The UK-based brand is known to put together some tasty products, so it will be interesting to see how well the Skinny Chocaholic Drops turn out and how much like the real thing they truly are.
