Zhou takes on the competitive protein category with a vegan-friendly formula

Zhou Nutrition Plant Complete

Alongside its handful of more workout-based sports nutrition supplements, the usually health and wellness brand Zhou Nutrition has launched an all-new protein powder. It turns out, this is actually the first-ever product for the competitive protein category from Zhou — excluding its collagens — and it’s not your traditional whey-based supplement but a plant-based, vegan-friendly formula.

Plant Complete is Zhou Nutrition’s first real protein powder providing a solid 21g of protein per serving from pea and rice protein, with 6g of carbohydrates, a gram of that fiber, no sugar or fat, and 136 calories. The product doesn’t have a whole lot of servings in every tub at 16, and if you follow the two-scoop directions listed on its facts panel, that’ll obviously halve the servings to eight.

Plant Complete is available now directly from Zhou Nutrition through its online store, and not too surprisingly, with 16 servings per tub or eight double servings, the price on it is not too high. If you grab the supplement straight from the brand, you’ll pay $26.99 with two traditional and naturally flavored options to choose from in Chocolate and Vanilla.
