Cricket protein brand Human Improvement releases a plant-based cookie dough

Human Improvement Plant Based Cookie Dough

Human Improvement, previously known as the cricket protein brand Crik Nutrition, has released a different type of product this week with Plant Based Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. The latest creation from the intriguing company is precisely what it’s called, with a jar of delicious chocolate chip-filled cookie dough that is completely plant-based and vegan-friendly.

Human Improvement prides itself in making Plant Based Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough using a fairly short and clean set of just eight ingredients. The recipe includes oats, chocolate chips, flaxseeds, maple syrup, almonds, coconut sugar, maca, and sea salt. They all roll together to make a sweet, salty, and gooey cookie dough that you can eat from the jar or bake into cookies.

The calories in 28g of Human Improvement’s Plant Based Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough are actually higher than the likes of Nestle’s Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough at 140 versus 118. However, the macros contributing to those calories are not the same, with Human Improvement packing a lot more protein and lower carbohydrates, but having a bit more fat, hence the higher calories.

Human Improvement has said it’s only done a small batch of Plant Based Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, so if you’re interested, you’ll want to get in sooner rather than later. A 12oz jar of the delicious-sounding snack is $15 with free shipping on orders of three jars or more, and the product is indeed still in stock and available from the brand’s website.
