Vital Pursuit pushes the protein even higher in its Max Pro Series with similar calories

Vital Pursuit Max Pro Pizzas

Vital Pursuit is a line of frozen foods from the giant corporation Nestle, which launched earlier this year with a selection of meals stuffed with protein. The menu includes Grilled Chicken Chipotle Bowl, Air Fryer Meal Teriyaki Chicken, Southwest Style Beef Taco Bowl, and even a few pizzas, including Cheese Lovers and Cauliflower Crust Pepperoni. In the coming weeks, that brand, Vital Pursuit, is introducing a new family of products called Max Pro with two new pizzas.

Similar to the original balanced Vital Pursuit frozen meals, the Max Pro pizzas are not only high in protein but much higher, hence the name of the series. The line starts out with two options: Cheese Lovers Pizza and Chicken Mozzarella Pizza, and they both have a respectable 33g of protein per entire pizza. The rest of the macros come out at 14g of fat, 26g of carbohydrates with only 4g of that sugar and 17g fiber, leaving behind just 9g of net carbs and 360 calories.

Interestingly, the Max Pro pizza is not a 50% bigger variant of the original Vital Pursuit Cheese Lovers Pizza; it is actually around the same size, but the protein is much higher, the carbohydrates go in the other direction and are lower, and that leads to similar calorie count. Those numbers mentioned are about the same for both flavors of the Max Pro pizzas and they are pretty damn good, especially the carbohydrates, considering you’re getting an entire pizza.
