Yummy returns to the plant protein category with a transparent blend of pea and rice protein

Yummy Sports Vegan

A few years ago, at the end of 2018, Canadian supplement company Yummy Sports came out with a second protein powder with the simply-named plant-based product, Vegan. It was the brand’s entry into the then and still-now, fast-growing plant-protein category, which at some point in the years between 2018 and 2022, the supplement dropped off the map.

The latest news from Yummy Sports is the tasty brand is back in the space with an all-new Vegan-named protein powder, featuring a similar although still somewhat different formula compared to the original. Yummy’s return to the plant protein category features a transparent blend of 8g of rice protein and 16g of pea protein, providing a combined 16g of protein.

Interestingly, if you head to Yummy Sports’ website, you’ll see Vegan listed, but you only get the amounts of the different types of protein on the label. The brand does not have the nutrition profile we’re used to seeing for a product, not even the calorie count. Either way, you can purchase it from the online store at $49.99 (39.28 USD) for a tub of 30 servings.

Yummy Sports Vegan has debuted in two flavors, both traditional in Chocolate and Vanilla, also featuring a variety of vitamins and minerals, including zinc, iron, and magnesium.
